Description
Thunderbolt Series: 10 Green
Excellent wax for cold abrasive snow.
• Peak Range -10° to 15° F
• Iron Temperature 284° F
• Blend of paraffin wax and non-Fluorocarbon speed additive
• Use when humidity is greater than 30%
Extremely cold snow needs a cold weather ski wax that can stand up to the speed reducing, abrasive friction created as you ski over it.
Wax Technology:
Thunderbolt 10 is specifically engineered with a blend a special hard wax and balanced with a specialty micro wax, along with a tough synthetic wax. A blend five different waxes are married to form an exceptional ski wax. That excels in and under extreme conditions.
Another use of Thunderbolt 10 is by Alpine racers who use Thunderbolt 10 to fight base burn. Placing Thunderbolt 10 under your bindings will help you dissipate heat generated in high G turns. Simply apply a layer of Thunderbolt 10 on top of your base prep. Then finish with a layer or layers of the race wax you will be using that day.
Since Thunderbolt 10 is a hard wax you will need to iron this in, let it cool, and scrape it off. You will be shocked at how easy Thunderbolt 10 irons in and scrapes out. You will not find another extreme cold weather wax that is so easy to apply.
When to use:
No need to be afraid of dry, cold, fine grained, powdery snow anymore when you are skiing on Thunderbolt 10. Ideally one should use Thunderbolt 10 when the temp is just above zero up to the upper mid teens.
Thunderbolt Series: 20 Blue

• Peak Range 12° to 28° F
• Iron Temperature 275° F

Thunderbolt 20 is based on Fast Waxes most popular ski wax HS 20. The wide effective temperature (powerband) range covers you at the start, and keeps performing as the race continues and temps start to increase. Making it an all around excellent wax for casual skiing, training, or racing. Always a great choice of wax for humid new snow, overcast conditions and new windblown dry snow. Excellent dirt repelling properties and base protection on abrasive refrozen and artificial snow.
Wax Technology:
Thunderbolt 20 is an engineered blend of several paraffin waxes each selected for a key property to form an exceptional ski wax. This selective blending process combined with our unique environmentally friendly non-Fluorocarbon speed aditive gives Fast Wax skier’s an advantage in speed and durability over other products. Like all Fast Wax products Thunderbolt 20 Blue irons in smooth and scrapes out easily.
A mix of hard waxes to provide a solid foundation for Thunderbolt 20. These hard waxes help keep the wax in the ski as the snow attempts to pull it out. Ironed in wax provides extra durability. The pores of the ski base will expand from the irons heat allowing wax to sink deeper in to it.
When to use:
When the temperature is between 10 and 30 degrees and humidity is over 40% is when you should use Thunderbolt 20. Here dry and wet friction starts to rob you of your speed. Fight back and stay fast. Get a ski wax that is engineered from the ground up for durability and speed.
Thunderbolt Series: 30 Red
